On Monday, April 29, 2024, Ana Catalina Arango (University of Antioquia) will participate in the 93rd TDJ Workshop session to present the paper: "Los militares en la política. La construcción de una memoria institucional autoritaria en el ejecutivo" [The Military in Politics: The Construction of an Authoritarian Institutional Memory in the Executive].
Ana Catalina Arango is a full-time professor at the University of Antioquia and holds a PhD in Law from Carlos III University of Madrid, specializing in Constitutional Theory. She earned her Master's Degree in Public Law (2011) from Carlos III University of Madrid, a Specialization in Constitutional and Parliamentary Law (2009) from Externado University of Colombia in partnership with the Autonomous University of Madrid, and a Bachelor of Laws (2007) from the Pontifical Bolivarian University of Medellín. Her research focuses on the study of the mutations experienced by the presidential system in Colombia and the effects these have produced on various facets of democracy.
